Imbolc

This ceramic tile depicts the sacred season of Imbolc in the pagan wheel of the year.

The sun is setting over a magical forest where a hare sits aside beautiful snowdrops and crocuses that have just burst into life from the sacred earth.

The tile is also decorated with Celtic knotwork entwined with snowdrops.

Imbolc is celebrated on  1st or 2nd February andsignifies the midpoint between winter and spring. Traditionally, it is a time to honor the Celtic goddess Brigid and celebrate the increasing strength of the sun and the coming of spring.

Can be freestanding or wall hung.
